Vacaciones con nuestros peludos

Ya llegan las vacaciones y para nuestro temor, multitud de abandonos. Desde SARA, siguiendo con nuestra propuesta de concienciación y hacer todo lo posible para evitarlos, queremos poner la vida un poco más fácil a todas las familias que se plantean por un segundo, que hacer con sus mascotas en estas fechas.
Hay múltiples opciones, desde guarderías, hoteles, las empresas de transporte que permiten animales, todo porque nuestro compañero, el que ha estado todo el año esperando, tanto como nosotros esas vacaciones, también pueda disfrutarlas.

Solidarity Day in La Villa, Teguise - 10/6/12

Again we have here the Solidarity Day, but this time in Teguise!
The next June 10 from 11 am you can enjoy all kinds of dog related activities, demonstrations, lectures, competitions, training courses and even a parade ...
The event program is as follows:
At 11am we will have a basic training course conducted by Dog Trainer Lanzarote where Natalie will teach us how our dogs can learn to behave properly in many situations, entries to the course cost 10 € and can be done by sending an email to admin@sara-lanzarote.eu. All who register will receive a gift donated by Trixie
At 12h Drug Canine Unit Civil Guard of Lanzarote us a demonstration of how to work with their dogs and we explain how is the day to day with them.
At 12:30h our visitors from the neighboring island, the Canary Association of Dogs-Guide, explain us the great work they do their dogs for the blind and the process involved to become guide dogs
At 13h Emerlan guys will make us a great demonstration of rescue dogs, the great work being done to help us in difficult times.
And as icing on the cake to 13.30 we will do our now famous, Popular Dog Contest, where all dogs of any breed, size, color .... in short, all! are welcome to have fun and win great prizes donated to us from Trixie and Purina. Registration is € 5 and must be done by sending an email to admin@sara-lanzarote.eu
Throughout the day, our furry enliven the evening we doing different parades to show all your goodies and get that family so desired by them will lead them to their final home and invite all those who adopted a dog in SARA to come and visit us so we can see how well our children are and they will deliver the scarf of Adopted! so they can wear them proud :)
In addition, to continue the great day, all that came with your pet, and join us and bring identification chip, thanks to the City Council of Teguise, we will deliver a gift for your pet, there it a great raffle basket donated by Trixie and have a snack bar with Garbanzada, tortillas, pizzas, drinks .... What more could you want?
Do not miss it, we will be fun and will fundraise a little money for all the abandoned animals we have in the shelter.

Arrecife's Book Fair

To buy the book Cuentos Solidarios just closer to the animal shelter, also is sold on the SARA position in the market of Teguise (every Sunday).
This book was created through the efforts of many animal lovers who contributed their bit. The result: a book full of emotion, tenderness and above all a lot of respect for the furry. What are you waiting? for only 9 € you can help animals abandoned on the island and will have a gem in your hands.
