STERILIZATION CAMPAIGN FOR CATS WITH OWNER

-This campaign is aimed at cats whose owners are unemployed or have low income (pensioners, students ..)
-Those who want to join in this campaign, only have to pay:
40 euros female cat
20 euros male cat
(The rest of the amount for the transaction will be paid by the shelter)
-With this budget that we have to perform some 70 sterilizations, once we get to this number, we will end the campaign.
REQUIREMENTS
-Present ID and proof of employment demand or have low incomes.
-Registration will be on-site in the office of the shelter, Monday through Saturday, from 10:30 to 13h. After presenting the documentation and pay the cost of the operation, you will be given an appointment for the day and time of operation, the International Veterinary Centre (PET) of Costa Teguise.
Note: those owners who want to vaccinate and identify your cat (as it requires the Animal Protection Law of the Canaries), the veterinarian may do a very low cost.

Podencos and Friends Tour

A few days ago, fellow in Gran Canaria, contacted with us to propose a challenge to which we said YES!
They are preparing for the last 5 months or so, with the help of some protective of Gran Canaria and others in Tenerife, also Republica Checa and Austria too, and with the cooperation and participation of the players Valeron and Manuel Pablo (former UD players and current players LP A Coruña) and actress Selene Monzón, all admirers and lovers of this breed, a campaign Pro-Podenco!!
They have decided to focus the campaign to have the many virtues that the Podencos have as pets, throwing truth at all "cliches" associated with the Podencos, since nothing will have to envy a dalmatian, a golden etc. Something we already have spent some time doing ...
We have decided to do so, given the collaboration of the City Council of Arrecife and coinciding with Children's Day, do this tour on Saturday 24 November, from the Music Kiosk to the Grand Hotel, starting at 16:30.
Come on trial, but there are still enough days to mark it on your calendar, for a few hours for them worthwhile.
We are brothers and unite around Europe by and for them. We will read a write, as in the other islands, to sound stronger what we mean.
Come on???
We'll get some of our Podencos to demonstrate their great qualities and make themselves known. You can come with your Podencos or any of his friends and everyone is invited, the more we are, the more you will hear us!
Please note, bring their animals card, as well as bags for depositions and successfully bring a leash for to be an example ;)in category General

Christmas raffle of SARA

Very soon we will have to sell raffle tickets for the Christmas of SARA that will be held on December 15 at El Guachinche de Luis (Costa Teguise) at 19:00 H. This year we have more than 50 awards, each valued at more than € 50 so do not hesitate and participate in a solidarity cause for just 1 €.
Tickets can be purchased at the animal shelter and at various points of the island. If you are a member of SARA and want to help us selling tickets in your job and at your friends.
You'll be helping SARA furry!!

"SARA" in Los Dolores - Tinajo

"We go to Dolores ... a glass of local wine and a "enyesque " for the way"
From today Wenesday until Sunday, in our stand (just in front of the Hermitage) you can find Stratvs wine of Lanzarote, marinated meat, hot dogs ;), sweets and soft drinks for all the pilgrims and romeras can enjoy our products and to help our furry, this year more than ever have become devotees of the Virgen de los Dolores.
